The National Transportation Safety Board says improper maintenance and the pilot's failure to abort takeoff likely caused a small plane to crash into a building in New Hampshire in 2022. Both people on board were killed when the single-engine Beechcraft Sierra crashed into a two-story barn connected to a multifamily apartment building north of the Keene airport. All eight people evacuated the building and were not hurt. Killed in the crash shortly after takeoff were 41-year-old Lawrence Marchiony, of Baldwinville, Massachusetts, and 60-year-old Marvin David Dezendorf, of Townshend, Vermont. The NTSB says an examination showed improper maintenance of the plane's fuel injector nozzles.
