NATIONAL SUMMARY

Thunderstorms can bring hail and damaging winds from

southeastern South Dakota and southern Minnesota to the

Texas Panhandle tomorrow. Many of the storms will occur in

the afternoon or late afternoon from Nebraska southward. A

separate zone of severe weather is expected during the

afternoon hours in eastern Montana and western North Dakota.

These storms will also be capable of producing hail and

damaging winds, with the added hazard of flooding downpours.

Showers and thunderstorms will be less numerous in central

and South Florida and will primarily be confined to the

afternoon. Showers will exit the New England coast in the

morning. Temperatures below the historical average are

expected in the Northwest, along with showers from

Washington to central Montana.
