Former President Donald Trump has maintained since his defeat in 2020 that the election was stolen. In a prerecorded video at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday he again alluded to the baseless allegation. His accusations of massive voting fraud have been refuted by a variety of judges, state election officials and an arm of his own administration’s Homeland Security Department.
