NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms could bring damaging winds, flash flooding and
hail to western and central portions of South Dakota and
Nebraska tomorrow. Hail and damaging winds can occur with
thunderstorms as far west as southeastern Montana, eastern
Wyoming and eastern Colorado. There can be flooding in
low-lying and poor drainage areas due to heavy rain from
thunderstorms in northern and central Georgia, much of South
Carolina and southern North Carolina. Afternoon
thundershowers will once again develop in the central and
southern Rockies. Spotty thunderstorms are likely along the
immediate Gulf Coast, primarily restricted to the afternoon
hours in the central and South Florida Peninsula. Heat
will begin to intensify in the interior Northwest. The
Northeast will have a break from recent heat and humidity.
