NATIONAL SUMMARY

Showers, some with thunder, will occur from Missouri through

the Southeast into Florida and the Carolinas tomorrow.

Rounds of drenching thunderstorms in Mississippi, Alabama

and Georgia can lead to flash flooding. Elsewhere, monsoon

thunderstorms in the Southwest will increase in coverage.

Slow-moving showers and thunderstorms in Arizona and New

Mexico can lead to flash flooding. In the Rockies it will be

windy and cool with an afternoon thundershower in a few

spots. Across the country, it will be mainly dry and sunny

in the Northeast and Great Lakes region. While it will be

turning warmer across the Midwest, it will stay cool along

the Northeast coast. It will be hot and humid across the

Plains. Meanwhile, a storm will approach the Pacific

Northwest ushering in cool, cloudy and breezy weather.
