NATIONAL SUMMARY

In the late afternoon tomorrow in eastern Kentucky and West

Virginia into eastern Virginia there can be thunderstorms

that can bring downpours, gusty winds and small hail.

Periods of rain will span from northern Michigan into New

England. Spotty showers can occur from eastern Minnesota

and Wisconsin, through Michigan into Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Showers and a heavy thunderstorm, especially near the

Atlantic coast, can occur in South Florida. Across the

Plains, temperatures will be falling into early next week; a

noticeable breeze can make this more apparent. Hot, dry

conditions will persist in the Southwest into the South

Central states. Mild to warm conditions are expected across

the West, excluding southern Arizona, California and New

Mexico. Less humid conditions will remain in the Southeast.
