The San Jose, California-based company said it had profit of $1.17 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.18 per share.

The parent of San Jose Water Co. posted revenue of $225.1 million in the period.

SJW expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.68 to $2.78 per share.
