The Nation's Weather for Monday, December 23, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A disturbance developing over the Upper Midwest will deliver
a period of snow tomorrow from Wisconsin and the Upper
Peninsula of Michigan across most of Lower Michigan.
However, slightly warmer air over southern Lower Michigan as
well as northern Indiana and Ohio may lead to some sleet and
freezing rain instead. To the south and west, rain extends
from west-central Ohio through much of Oklahoma. Some
portions of the interior Northeast may receive some snow as
well, mainly toward the end of the day. Most places from New
England through the Southeast should be dry today, with the
one exception being showers along the Atlantic coast of
Florida. Showers also dot South Texas, with snow showers in
the Rockies. West of there, a new storm brings some rain
from the San Francisco Bay Area through Western Washington.
