Asian shares are mixed after stocks fell broadly on Friday as Wall Street closed out a holiday-shortened week on a down note. Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 1% as the dollar traded near 158 yen. U.S. futures were lower while oil prices were little changed. Shares of Jeju Air Co. lost 9% after an air crash on Sunday that killed 179 people. The S&P 500 fell 1.1% Friday and the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.8%. The Nasdaq composite dropped 1.5%. The “Magnificent 7” stocks weighed on the market, led by declines in Nvidia, Tesla and Microsoft.
