Charge it.
Now that the gifts are open and many of us received new smartphones, true wireless earbuds or Apple Watches that must be charged, why not do it with the latest and greatest?
The latest and greatest chargers include the newer charging standard Qi2. It charges faster than the original Qi standard and seems to have a better magnetic system. (There's nothing wrong with the original Qi charging standard; there's no need to get rid of it.)
Satechi's new Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad (8.3 by 3.8 by 0.81 inches) will simultaneously wirelessly charge a Qi2-enabled iPhone or other Qi-compatible smartphone. It will also give AirPods and an Apple Watch 5W of charging power. The stand feature allows the charging smartphone to work hands-free to watch media from portrait or landscape angles or keep it in standby mode.
The Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad ($99.99) is constructed with a premium-grade aluminum enclosure, a vegan-leather base and a soft silicone charging puck. Its travel-friendly design, with durable hinges for the smartphone and watch chargers, allows it to pack up easily. Charging works just as well while it's folded up.
Included are a 45W US power adapter, UK and EU travel adapters, and a 40-inch USB-C cable.
Satechi's other new charging stand, the 3-in-1 Foldable Qi2 Wireless Charging Stand ($129.99), gives your charging a more vertical display, while the Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad has more of a horizontal feel. With the charging pad, each item charging sits in a row, while on the stand, the Qi2 smartphone charging is front and center, with AirPods on the bottom and Apple Watch charging on the back.
