Three former sheriff’s deputies in Virginia are charged with second-degree murder over the death of a man they restrained at a local jail. Virginia Beach prosecutor Colin Stolle said a grand jury returned the indictments Friday. The man who died was 34-year-old Rolin Hill. He was arrested in June on charges that included trespassing and resisting arrest. He was booked at the jail and officials say deputies restrained him after he become combative. The local medical examiner said Hill died from asphyxia. An attorney for one of the deputies said he'd been "wrongfully accused of a horrendous crime.”
