Having watched a lot of our games back on YouTube, I am surprised that it's not one of the FOUR times we beat our WA9 neighbours*, or the win at Wigan, or the mullering of Hudds in September... Actually my favourite match was Catalans away, where we defended like absolute trojans in the face of 'The Chris Kendall Show(TM)' and his many six agains!
I remember thinking that, above and beyond any flash attack, that resilience displayed in France showed me how far the side had grown in such a short time under big Sam. I am pretty sure the year before, we'd have capitulated eventually and started blaming each other stood behind the sticks as it all fell apart.
So, what was your favourite match, and why?
* Honourable mention for that playoff win, their sarky chanting about us falling apart, it's always our year etc, and then the wave of noise from the east stand as they were the first to see the DG sail over to break those arrogant Stains hearts. Awesome.
