Turns Out Jay Cutler’s Son Is An Even Bigger Savage Than Him
Jay Cutler was best known for his on-field play. His incredible arm strength and highlight-reel throws captivated Chicago Bears fans for eight seasons, during which he set every meaningful passing record in franchise history. While he never quite achieved the heights people had hoped for, most look back on his time with the team with far greater appreciation today than when he retired. Cutler was also known for something else during his time with the organization: an absolutely visceral mouth.
People often forget how much of a wise-ass the former quarterback could be. He wasn’t afraid to tell it like it is and took digs at friends, teammates, and opponents at every opportunity. What people may not know is that his son, Camden Cutler, might be even worse. During an appearance on Waddle & Silvy for ESPN 1000, the 12-year-old had some of the most vicious quotes you can imagine.
It started by taking not one but two digs at his father, stating that Caleb Williams probably won’t break all of his passing records by the end of next season. Then, he expressed utter disbelief that Cutler never managed to throw 30 touchdowns in a season.
Cam wasn’t done. Later in the segment, he talked about playing football himself. He is currently in sixth grade. However, because of his school’s smaller size, his team is often forced to play older kids in eighth grade. He made sure everybody knew how unfair that was.
Jay Cutler should be a proud father.
The kid is a chip off the old block. Most 12-year-olds are still basic vocabulary. Cam has perfected the art of trolling before he even hits puberty. If he manages to reach the NFL in the distant future, he will become an instant legend. Trash-talking is a lost art for many athletes of today. Jay Cutler was one of those unafraid to keep it alive. He is doing the right thing by passing it on to the next generation. One thing is certain. People might be smart not to get on Cam’s bad side. His lightning-fast mouth may end up haunting your nightmares.
