Authorities say two crew members ejected from a U.S. Navy jet before it crashed off the coast of San Diego and were rescued by a fishing boat. A Coast Guard official says the two occupants of the E/A-18G Growler were picked up by the fishing vessel Wednesday and then transferred to a Customs and Border Protection craft. The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department says they were brought to a hospital and are in stable condition. The Coast Guard official says they're both in stable condition. The Growler is a two-seater jet that specializes in electronic warfare.
