Police conducting a welfare check have discovered five people dead inside a home in northwest Indiana. Police say when officers arrived at the home in Lake Station on Friday afternoon they obtained a search warrant and found the bodies. Officials described this as an isolated situation and said there is no threat to the public. No additional information about the victims and how they died were available. The home is about 34 miles southeast of Chicago.
