_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A clipper storm will continue moving across the Northeast
today, bringing mainly snow across northern New England.
Rain showers will be spotty farther south from western
Pennsylvania to southern New England. Behind this storm,
gusty winds from the northwest will usher in colder air
across the Midwest, while there may be a few lake-effect
snow showers in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. On the other
side of the nation, another storm will approach the West
Coast, and showers will spread across California and Oregon
late in the day and at night. Dry and mild conditions will
continue across the Intermountain West, while gusty winds
may lead to an elevated risk of wildfires in southern
Arizona and New Mexico. The Southeast will remain dry with
plenty of sunshine.
