The Nation's Weather
The Nation's Weather for Monday, March 10, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Periods of rain and a few heavy thunderstorms are expected
across the the Southeast tomorrow. Rain will be beneficial
due to an ongoing drought; however, it can lead to ponding
on roadways or even cause flooding in some areas. Meanwhile,
plenty of sunshine will be in store from the south central
United States to the Midwest and southern New England.
Southwesterly winds will also lead to a big warm up across
the South, Plains and Ohio Valley, leading to well above
historical average temperatures. Along the West coast, it
will be cool with more clouds than sun. A couple of rain and
snow showers will also dot the Northwest and a few snow
showers in New England cannot be ruled out in the morning
either. Elsewhere, gusty winds and low humidity will lead to
a high fire threat for portions of the northern Plains.
