The Nation's Weather
The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, March 11, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A southwesterly breeze will lead to above historical average
temperatures across the Plains and eastern United States
tomorrow. There will also be a good deal of sunshine across
these regions. Calm winds and low humidity in the Southeast
will make for a pleasant day as well. Ongoing dry weather
and windy conditions, however will lead to an elevated fire
risk from Virginia to southern New England. Similar
conditions will also cause a risk for wildfires in southern
New Mexico and western Texas. From Southern California to
Arizona, periods of rain and showers will lead to slower
travel and reduced visibility. Clouds will loom over the
Northwest throughout the day and rain off the Washington
coast will begin to move onshore later on. Rain is expected
to switch over to snow in the mountains.
