Rescue teams in Slovenia are searching for three Croatian mountaineers who were apparently swept away in an avalanche. A group of seven was climbing Tosc Mountain in northwestern Slovenia on Sunday. Local media reported that when four mountaineers took a break, the remaining three continued and were caught in the avalanche. Rescue official Klemen Belhar told Croatia's public broadcaster that rain, snow and further avalanche risks have hampered search efforts. Bad weather has also prevented helicopter use. Slovenia has been experiencing cold weather with early snow, making conditions challenging.
