A collision between a Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines jet killed 67 people in January 2025. Investigators will describe in detail Tuesday the factors that they believe contributed to the deadliest plane crash on U.S. soil since 2001. The National Transportation Safety Board has already released a minute-by-minute description of the last moments before the collision. The NTSB will adopt recommendations designed to prevent any similar tragedies.
