COLUMBIA — South Carolina offensive lineman Zack Bailey missed the Gamecocks’ scrimmage Saturday night with an injury, but head coach Will Muschamp believes the Summerville High School product will return to the field this week.

The shooting occurred overnight Saturday on Westerfield Drive in the Cherry Hill subdivision off Crowfield Boulevard. The incident was still under investigation Sunday morning. Police had no more information to release and no suspects yet, said Goose Creek Police Sgt. Conrad Stayton.
