Filipino fishermen are advised to temporarily avoid fishing in disputed areas in the West Philippine Sea/South China Sea, particularly in Scarborough Shoal (Bajo de Masinloc/Panatag Shoal), until the issue of fishing rights has been cleared through bilateral talks with China.
