(AP) — No federal charges will be filed against a concealed weapon permit-holder who wounded himself and a bystander when the gun he stuffed into his sock accidentally discharged at a southern Kansas high school graduation ceremony. INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The city of Indianapolis plans to spend $126 million for infrastructure improvements and repairs this summer. City official announced the construction schedule Monday. It includes 60 projects, most of which are street repaving. The repaving will encompass 200 miles of streets. The city also plans to add 300 wheelchair access ramps, mark 6.2 miles of bike lanes and build sidewalks and trails. Storm sewer repairs and 240 school-zone warning lights will be added as well.

(AP) — City officials are continuing to investigate why at least one glass panel fell from South Bend's tallest building and went crashing to the ground. Building commissioner Chuck Bulot tells the South Bend Tribune (http://bit.ly/1TXnp0u ) that a gust of wind caught the glass panel or panels when they were being removed and were sent flying across the street and into the Tower Building.
