TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say an Ohio man and his 27-year-old son kept a teenage girl shackled in a basement for as long as a year. The two men were taken into custody early Thursday at the home in Toledo. Each is being held on $500,000 bond. Both are charged with kidnapping and child endangerment. Court documents say the 13-year-old girl told investigators she was shackled by the ankle to a support beam in the darkened basement. She told authorities she was kept in the basement over different periods.
