GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba (AP) — With a military tribunal for five Guantanamo Bay prisoners charged in the Sept. 11 terrorist plot is grinding along in the pretrial stage, prosecutors asked a judge Tuesday to allow public testimony as early as this fall from people who lost family members in the attack. All five defendants face charges that include nearly 3,000 counts of murder in violation of the law of war and terrorism for their alleged roles planning the attack and providing logistical support to the hijackers. MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) — Police say a 20-year-old New Hampshire woman has been accused of biting her boyfriend, striking him with a ceramic ash tray, and threatening him with a Samurai-type sword. Alexsandra Wadleigh, of Merrimack, was arrested Saturday after her boyfriend reported to police that he had been threatened. She was charged with criminal threatening, a felony, and two misdemeanor counts of simple assault. She was arraigned Tuesday and her bail was set at $5,000. Her case was assigned to the public defender's office.
