Court ruling: Gun owners have no constitutional right to carry concealed firearms in public

A federal appeals court ruled Thursday that the 2nd Amendment does not give people the right to carry concealed weapons in public, according to the Associated Press.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco voted seven to four in favor of a state law obligating gun owners to demonstrate "good cause" when applying for concealed carry permits, the Los Angeles Times reported.
