UConn won't add ticket surcharge this football season
(AP) — The University of Connecticut will not be adding a surcharge to tickets for the upcoming football and basketball seasons, according to the school's athletic director. The school's Board of Trustees in January approved adding a surcharge of between $1 and $5 to tickets for football and men's and women's basketball games. The money would be used to help fund the construction of new soccer, baseball and softball stadiums.
