Police in New York hunt bandits who made off with pet bunny

NEW YORK (AP) — Police in New York City are searching for two men who broke into an unlocked apartment and made off with a pet bunny. In addition to the caged rabbit, police say the men took a bracelet and a passport from the Bronx residence. A surveillance photo shows the men walking down the sidewalk. One is carrying the cage. Anyone with information is asked to contact NYPD Crime Stoppers .

NEW YORK (AP) — A new poll shows about three out of four Americans believe Donald Trump will further divide the country if elected, but doubts remain about Hillary Clinton's ability to unite as well. The survey released Monday by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found only about a third of people think Clinton, the Democratic nominee, would help unify the country.

Uber China merged with its biggest rival in the country Didi Chuxing in a $35 billion deal Monday.

The news comes a few months after Didi received a $1 billion investment from Apple. The company averages about 11 million rides a day, and has 300 million users across 400 Chinese cities. Didi completed 1.4 billion rides in 2015 alone.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. military conducted air strikes on Monday targeting Islamic State militants in the Libyan city of Sirte, the Pentagon said in a statement.

The strikes were requested by Libya's Government of National Accord (GNA) and were authorized by President Barack Obama following a recommendation by U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford, the Pentagon said.
