Enkele twitteraars, waaronder BNN-presentator Tim Hofman, zijn een beweging gestart om jongeren tussen de 18 en de 25 naar de stembus te krijgen. Onder de noemer Stembus 2017 willen ze de 800.000 jongeren die in maart van dit jaar voor het eerst mogen stemmen, ook echt naar de stembus krijgen. In twee uur tijd hadden ze al 1500 volgers op Twitter en meer dan 300 likes op Facebook.
