Public, Catholic schools in Philadelphia closed Monday

The School District of Philadelphia said Sunday that the closure of public schools will include early childhood and after-school programs as well as administrative offices.

Officials noted that schools in the suburban counties "normally follow the decision of their corresponding local public school district."
