Coroner: Coastal Carolina student died of natural causes

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say a 21-year-old Coastal Carolina University art student found dead in a dormitory room died of natural causes.

Horry Country Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick tells local news outlets that an autopsy revealed Sunday that Brandon Devere Scott had a history of cardiac problems and died of natural causes.
