Central Georgia universities restricting hoverboard use

(AP) — At least four central Georgia institutions have joined a growing list of colleges and universities imposing restrictions or total bans on hoverboards because of safety concerns.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced earlier this month that it's investigating 28 fires in 19 states tied to the motorized scooters.
