Analysis: College readiness in Ohio tied to income level
After grouping the state's school districts according to the percentage of economically disadvantaged students, consultant Howard Fleeter's analysis showed there is a more than 23-point percentage gap between the average four-year graduation rate in districts with fewer than 10 percent economically disadvantaged students and districts with greater than 90 percent economically disadvantaged students.
Fleeter also found ACT test participation rises as a district's percentage of low-income students falls.
