Michigan teen to receive White House computer science honor

Utica Community Schools senior Christina Li will be among nine people from across the country recognized Tuesday in Washington, D.C. as "White House Champions of Change for Computer Science Education."

Li was nominated by Debbie Taylor, assistant director of the engineering school and director of Women in Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, for the weeklong computer science camp she hosted last summer.
