Super Bowl tickets worth thousands stolen from S.F. hotel
Thousands of dollars worth of Super Bowl tickets were pilfered from a San Francisco hotel, prompting concerns that some fans heading to Sunday’s big game might be in possession of stolen tickets — and be turned away. Police said four people swiped an undisclosed number of tickets Thursday night at a hotel on the 200 block of Mason Street near Union Square, identified by the address as the Hotel Nikko. Investigators were checking hotel surveillance-camera footage in hopes of identifying the crooks.
