Three planes violated Super Bowl air space, feds say
Three airplanes violated flight restrictions set up to secure the skies above Santa Clara during Sunday’s Super Bowl, federal officials said.
The Federal Aviation Administration did not immediately disclose details of the violations or say whether sanctions had been imposed on the pilots.
The agency said earlier that it was imposing temporary flight restrictions around the South Bay from 2 p.m. to midnight Sunday.
