Willie Mays is back, and all is right in the Giants’ world

Something was missing from spring training last year, the sound of Willie Mays’ voice inside the clubhouse at Scottsdale Stadium.

Mays wasted no time flying to Arizona to take his familiar seat at the “Hall of Fame” table inside the clubhouse, making what ordinarily is an annual visit.

Just before he was due to travel, he fell and injured a rib.
