Memphis may consider fee for transportation authority

(AP) — The CEO of the Memphis Area Transit Authority says the city is looking at a new fee to pay for the city's and the authority's transportation-related costs.

The Commercial Appeal (http://bit.ly/20GpgHW ) reports MATA CEO Ron Garrison made the announcement Wednesday, a day after saying the transit authority was on the "verge of collapse."
