WHL Roundup: Butcher with four points as Tigers erase deficit to beat Raiders
Chad Butcher had two goals and two assists as the Medicine Hat Tigers came from behind to stun the Prince Albert Raiders 4-3 on Wednesday in Western Hockey League action.
Prince Albert jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Medicine Hat stormed back with four unanswered goals, including three in a 2:04 span with less than four minutes to go in regulation.
Butcher put the Tigers (27-35-5) on the board with a power-play goal at 19:54 of the first period.
Steven Owre scored the winner at 18:20 for Medicine Hat and tacked on two assists for a three-point night.
Connor Ingram made 24 saves and Spencer Bast's second-period goal stood up as the winner as Kamloops slipped past the Chiefs.
