Drivers: Watch out for crossing frogs in eastern New York

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Amphibians are on the move in the Hudson Valley after an unusual warm spell followed by gentle rain, and volunteer road crossing guards will be helping them reach breeding pools without getting squished.

Laura Heady of the Department of Environmental Conservation's Hudson River Estuary Program says Thursday night is expected to be a "Big Night."
