Senate bill would raise felony larceny limit to $1,500

BOSTON (AP) — The Massachusetts Senate has passed a bill that would raise from $250 to $1,500 the threshold for being charged with felony larceny and other property crimes.

The bill also addresses felony thresholds for malicious destruction of property, credit card fraud, receiving stolen property, and shoplifting.
