Stuart Hall prevails over Mariposa County
Close to 2,000 fans came to Merced College to watch second-seeded Mariposa County host Stuart Hall in a CIF State Northern California Division V quarterfinal Saturday.

Mariposa County (24-5) took a two-point lead in the final three minutes — “I thought the roof was going to come off it was so loud,” Johnson said — before junior guard Darna Stewart (12 points) drilled a three-pointer to give seventh-seeded Stuart Hall (21-11) the lead for good.
