1 dead in morning apartment fire in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas fire officials say one person has died and several people have been displaced by a fire in an apartment complex.

Clark County Fire Department spokesman Jeff Buchanan says several fire engines responded to the blaze around 8:45 a.m. Sunday on Karen Avenue near Mountain Vista Street.
