Former high school coach pleads not guilty to sex with teen

BURBANK, California (AP) — A former assistant baseball coach at a Burbank high school has pleaded not guilty to having sex with a student who was 15 when they allegedly began a 2 ½-year relationship.

City News Service says Jose Banuelos Jr. entered pleas Wednesday to felonies that include sex with a minor, oral copulation and possession of child pornography.
