Cal's Stephen Domingo, Sam Singer named all-academic Pac-12
Cal juniors Stephen Domingo and Sam Singer have been named to the Pac-12 All-Academic team, the conference announced Thursday morning.
Domingo received second-team honors, and Singer earned honorable mention.
On Feb. 19, after a practice in Seattle, Domingo and Singer learned they were admitted to Cal’s Haas School of Business.
To be eligible for the academic team, a player must have at least a 3.0 overall GPA and be either a starter or significant contributor.
Domingo, a Georgetown transfer, averaged 1.7 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in 30 appearances this past season.
Singer averaged 3.7 points per game and finished second on the team with 90 assists.
In the nine games he started, the Bears went 6-3.
