Man arrested, cleared in crash that killed officer wins $1M

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Philadelphia man acquitted in a crash that killed an off-duty city police officer has been awarded $1 million after a jury found he was wrongly arrested.

The Philadelphia Inquirer (http://goo.gl/j3sE5o) reports that one defendant testified that he opposed the charges and considered Brady "a ticking time bomb."
