Warriors could use breakout performance from Harrison Barnes
Barnes all but disappeared in the first two games of this series against the Rockets: 4-for-22 from the field, including 0-for-5 from three-point distance.
Barnes seemed skittish and frustrated in Oakland, but he was calm and rational Wednesday in Houston as he walked to the locker room after practice.
Some nights, shots are going to fall and some nights, they’re not going to fall, but my focus really is on defense and rebounding.
Head coach Steve Kerr was asked about the Rockets’ ongoing complaints about the Warriors setting illegal (i.e., moving) screens to spring Curry and Klay Thompson for shots.
Either the Warriors are a soft, jump-shooting team or they set mean, nasty screens.
