Curry voted into Southern Conference Hall of Fame
Long before he won an NBA title, a league MVP award and he and the Warriors began re-writing the NBA record book, Stephen Curry was a pretty successful player at Davidson College in North Carolina.
On Tuesday, his Wildcats career was honored with his being named to the Southern Conference Hall of Fame.
A first-round draft pick by the Warriors in 2009, Curry left Davidson as a two-time Southern Conference player of the year and is still its all-time leading scorer (2,635 points).
Playing for a Final Fourth berth, Curry and his teammates lost to eventual national champion Kansas, 59-57.
