Citadel to allow cadets with permits to have guns in cars

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Bowing to cadet pressure, The Citadel will allow cadets with concealed weapons permits to keep their personal guns in their cars.

The Post and Courier of Charleston (http://bit.ly/1VDqYMQ ) reports that the military college's Board of Visitors last weekend voted to suspend its code of regulations and instead recognize state law that allows all state permit carriers to keep their weapons locked in their vehicles.
