Warriors set for potential closeout game

The Warriors have gone 5-1 in potential closeout games, winning by an average of 11 points per game since the 2015 playoffs, so they’re confident heading into Wednesday’s Game 5 with a 3-1 lead over Portland.

“When you get to a closeout game, you pretty much know your opponent and vice versa,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said before Wednesday’s game.

After saying he thought Portland was “done” following the Warriors’ Game 4 win, Warriors power forward Draymond Green said the bulletin-board material was to inspire himself and his teammates to play harder.
